For three weeks during September and October we hosted Bloodhound SSC (Super Sonic Car) roadshow. The Bloodhound team are on course to set a new land speed record with their car this year and we were happy to invite them to show a full scale model and simulator of the rocket powered car.
Nearly one thousand pupils from many Norfolk and Suffolk based school and academies took part in this exciting opportunity, learning hands on how Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) can lead the way into ground breaking, world-record setting technologies.
